Our Commercial Spaces in Support of Montreal’s Visual Arts

Cominar is proud to be part of the partnership between the visual arts and commercial real estate communities by supporting Créer des ponts, an art initiative created by Art Souterrain in collaboration with the City of Montreal.

Starting today and until October 15, the Alexis Nihon and Rockland shopping centres will be converting vacant areas into creative spaces, featuring exhibitions and meetings with emerging artists.

For the next three months, customers and all contemporary art lovers will have the opportunity to discover the creative workshops and works of Yamina Sekhri at the Rockland Centre; and Delphine Kim Thériault de Carufel, Camille Lescarbeau, Dana Edmonds, and Florence Gagnon at Alexis Nihon.

Throughout the Créer des ponts event, close to 40 activities will be offered to the general public and to artists in downtown Montreal. Discover the exhibition locations and the complete schedule here.

We hope that our involvement in this initiative will bring contemporary art to a wider audience while contributing to the revitalization of downtown Montreal.
