Creative Moments: Spring in Full Bloom at Rockland Centre

At Rockland Centre, spring blossomed with the very first edition of Creative Moments. This inspiring event brought to life pockets of beauty, connection, and discovery. From May 10 to 24, the centre transformed into a space for artistic and floral expression. Creativity and the gentle spirit of spring came together to offer the community a series of exclusive experiences.

“We were able to create meaningful moments of connection and spark sharing, learning, and engagement right at the heart of the centre’s community,” explains Kelianne Lamothe, Marketing Coordinator at Rockland Centre. “The experiences we offered helped strengthen our current customers’ sense of belonging while also attracting new faces.”

A Lasting Connection

From floral arrangement workshops to watercolour classes, from plant-based silk printing to playful kids’ recipe sessions—each activity offered a mindful, hands-on break from the everyday. It was a chance to slow down, create something by hand, learn something new, and leave with one-of-a-kind memories.

At the heart of the central court, a floral installation caught the eye of many visitors—it was the perfect backdrop to pause (and snap a photo!). But more than just a good-looking setting, it was the thoughtful intention behind the programming that gave the event its true meaning: to create enriching human experiences in a warm and welcoming space.

At its core, Rockland Centre is a local gathering place, remaining a go-to destination for those seeking something a little different.
